Terms & Conditions
These terms set out the basis on which FlyJanuary.org acts for you, what we are responsible for, what the travel suppliers are responsible for, and what happens when plans change.

1. About us and these terms
FlyJanuary.org [PLACEHOLDER — registered company name, company number, registered office] provides travel agency and itinerary planning services. By asking us to quote for or arrange travel, you accept these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
2. Our role: agent, not carrier
This is the most important clause on the page. Unless we expressly tell you in writing that we are selling you a package as the organiser, we act as an agent for the airlines, hotels, transfer operators and other suppliers who actually provide your travel.
That means your contract for the travel itself is with those suppliers, on their terms, and they are responsible for delivering it. Our contract with you is for the advisory, booking and support service we provide. We tell you this plainly because it determines who you claim against if something goes wrong.
3. Quotations and pricing
- All fares, rates and availability quoted are indicative until ticketed. Airline pricing changes continuously and a quotation is not a held price.
- Prices shown on this website, including any "from" fares and the climate and booking-window guidance in our destination guide, are illustrative examples and not offers.
- A price is fixed only when the booking is confirmed and the ticket or voucher is issued.
- We quote our service fee up front, in writing, before we carry out chargeable work.
4. Our fees
We charge a flat consultation fee, agreed with you in advance. Where you go on to book through us, that fee is credited against the booking as described in your quotation.
We may also receive commission from suppliers. We disclose the existence of commission and do not allow it to determine which itinerary we recommend to you. If you would like the detail for a specific booking, ask and we will tell you.
5. Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation and, where applicable, tickets.
- Deposits and balance due dates are set by the supplier and stated on your confirmation.
- Late payment may result in the supplier cancelling your booking and applying charges.
- Payments are taken through our payment processor; we do not store full card details.
6. Accuracy of your details
You are responsible for checking that every name, date of birth and passport detail on your confirmation exactly matches the passports being travelled on, and for telling us immediately if anything is wrong.
Airline name changes are restricted and frequently expensive; on many fares a name correction requires a new ticket at the current price. We cannot absorb charges arising from details you confirmed as correct.
7. Changes and cancellations by you
- Changes and cancellations are governed by the supplier's fare rules, which we will give you before you book.
- Many January promotional fares are non-refundable and non-changeable. We will tell you when that is the case.
- We charge an administration fee for processing changes and cancellations, stated in your quotation, in addition to any supplier charge.
- Requests must be made in writing to hello@flyjanuaryorg.com.
8. Changes and cancellations by the supplier
Airlines and hotels sometimes change schedules or cancel. Where we are told, we will pass it on promptly and help you rebook or claim. Your rights in that situation are principally against the supplier.
For flights connected to the UK, statutory rights to assistance, rerouting, refunds and in some cases fixed compensation may apply. We explain how those work in our guide to January delays and cancellations, and the Civil Aviation Authority publishes the authoritative position.
9. Passports, visas and health
We check and advise on passport validity, visa and entry requirements as part of our service, and we do so carefully. However, meeting those requirements remains your legal responsibility, requirements can change at short notice, and they vary by nationality.
You should verify your own position against the FCDO travel advice before you travel. We are not liable for refused boarding or refused entry where the requirement was correctly notified to you.
10. Insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, arranged at the time you pay your first deposit. We are not insurance intermediaries and do not give regulated financial advice. See our general guidance on what to check.
11. Financial protection
[PLACEHOLDER — the site owner must state their actual financial protection arrangements here, for example ATOL cover, ABTA membership, a trust account or an insurance bond, together with the relevant licence or membership number. Do not publish this page until this clause is accurate, and do not claim protection you do not hold.]
12. Our liability
- We are liable for failing to exercise reasonable care and skill in the service we provide to you.
- We are not liable for the acts or omissions of suppliers, or for events outside our reasonable control — including weather, strikes, air traffic control restrictions, airport closures and airline insolvency.
- Except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud, our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us for the service in question.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
13. Website content
Content on this site, including destination guides and fare commentary, is published for general information. It is subject to our disclaimer. Website content and branding remain our property and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
14. Complaints
Tell us as soon as possible, ideally while you are still travelling, so we have a chance to put it right. Email hello@flyjanuaryorg.com or call +44 20 4525 1180. We acknowledge complaints within three working days and aim to resolve them within 28 days.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the version in force when the booking was confirmed.
